1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Outrank Startups ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What We Offer

Outrank Startups lets startups create a free public listing and optionally pay to "boost" their ranking on the leaderboard. Ranking is determined purely by the total boost amount placed on a listing — it is not an endorsement, certification, or investment recommendation from Outrank Startups.

3. Listings

• Listings are free to create and go live automatically.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit (company name, website, description, contact details).
• We may flag, edit, or remove a listing at our discretion — including for inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.

4. Boosts & Payments

• Boost payments are processed securely through PayU. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
• A boost is a one-time payment to raise a listing's rank; it does not guarantee any specific outcome, traffic, or result.
• Boost payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform to submit false information, impersonate another company or person, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service (including automated scraping or bypassing rate limits).

6. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Outrank Startups is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.

8a. Data Protection

We process personal data as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). By using the Platform, you consent to that processing as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.

• Personal data you submit is used only for the purpose(s) you consented to at the point of collection — see the consent checkboxes on each form.
• You may access, correct, or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent, at any time via our Data Rights Request form.
• Grievances about how your data is handled can be raised with our Grievance Officer — contact details are in the site footer and in Section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
• In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
